Established in 1977 and family run by the current owners since 2001, service and quality are our watchwords. We take time to get to know our customers and listen to their specific needs.
Our large showrooms are open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm (except Bank Holidays), with two floors of fashions for you to browse at your leisure. (We will also make appointments out of usual shop hours by prior arrangement.)

Alison Elizabeth's Spring Summer 2010 collection is a mixture of floaty feminine styles and modern tailoring to create a truly unique and new occasion wear story. The daywear collections are nautical with strong emphasis on navy and white with highlights in red. This season we have many different labels to reflect the individual style and identity of our customers.
The new collections are romantic whilst remaining classical and wearable. Modern fabrics bring the collections into the modern realm of dressing. There are opulent fabrics such as silk in graphic prints, and block colours of navy, pink, silver and lilac, which sit well with a choice of chiffon and crepe, all to be worn with fascinators or co-ordinating hats.
Tiered dresses offer an alternative to shift styles while extra detailing such as placement buttons on jacket collars modernize the look. As always, we are dictated to by our customers and stock garments to flatter any figure shape from size 10 – 26.
Spring/Summer 2010 strikes the perfect balance of creating a collection of clothing that will entice both the younger shopper who likes more trend driven pieces and the more mature lady who is styling staples. With a range of new and innovative design features and cutting edge shapes, Alison Elizabeth continues to evolve and offer the best plus size ranges on the market.
We continue to stock three ranges: occasion, smart casual and every day wear, further offering individual choices to suit every need. For occasion wear, opt for quite luxurious pieces, "without breaking the bank".
Cobalt and silver knitwear makes a wonderful daywear story all to be complemented by Autumn/Winter ranges due to start arriving in July. This season we have added Michele trousers to our range, including their 'magic' jeans.
Olsen collections go bold with cerise and nut, anthracite and white.
Cruisewear continues through the Summer with fluid and hot styles in monochrome graphic prints, black, turquoise, lime and cobalt from Canadian company Frank Lyman Designs.
